We are deeply grateful to Alliant Energy for awarding Martha’s House of Hope a $500 community grant. This generous support shines a light on hope for the young mothers and babies we serve. The grant will help energize our Healthy Moms & Babies program, which provides trauma-informed case management and direct support such as baby items, food, clothing, transportation, and more.

We are deeply grateful to the Ames Home Builders Association (AHBA) for awarding Martha’s House of Hope a $400 community grant to support our summer recreation initiative, Motherhood Made Splash-tastic. This funding provides a seasonal pool pass to the Furman Aquatic Center, along with swimwear and safety gear for our moms and babies to enjoy safe, active, and joy-filled summer days together.
We’ll also be hosting a Water Safety class to help our mothers feel confident around the water. Thanks to AHBA’s support, our families will make lasting summer memories. We’re honored to recognize their generosity and ongoing commitment to our mission.

We are incredibly grateful to Cornerstone Church for their generous $10,000 donation toward the purchase of our new transitional living home. This gift plays a vital role in helping us expand our mission and provide safe, stable housing for more young mothers and their children.
With the support of community partners like Cornerstone, we are able to offer hope, healing, and a fresh start to families in need. Thank you for believing in our mission and investing in brighter futures—your generosity is truly making a difference.

We are so thankful for the faithful partnership of Overflow Thrift Store, whose generosity has blessed Martha’s House of Hope in countless ways over the years. From their monthly contributions from thrift store revenue to their continued encouragement of our mission, Overflow has been a true source of support.
This year, we’re especially grateful for their generous donation toward upgrading our security system, helping us create an even safer environment for the mothers and babies we serve. Thank you, Overflow, for standing with us and helping hope overflow into the lives of so many.
